"United States: The view from West Virginia; Barack Obama." Pro Quest. The Economist, 07 Mar 2007. Web. 7 Apr 2010. .

This source I chose was picked from the Database at Pro Quest. It is a periodical newspaper article called “The economist”. I found this reading interesting because it discussed Barack Obama’s view on the health care reform and what he and congress had planned to do. Although this article isn’t exactly relevant, it shed some light on the white house and congress at the time and what they were planning. This article also presented some startling statistics. One statistic stated that with the original health care system in place, every 30 seconds bankruptcy occurred because of the expensive and staggering costs of health care. It was projected by the end of 2007 that 1.5 million citizens would lose their homes.

Mahar, Maggie. "Myths and Facts about Health Reform." The Health Care Blog. Google, 05 Apr 2010. Web. 7 Apr 2010. .

This blog had wonderful insight on the health care reform since that is probably the most hotly debated topic in the health care industry right now. It shared many views and opinions from several authors who were highly accredited with degrees. Apart from that, the blog itself was recognized as the best blog on health care by “The Wall Street Journal”. The author Maggie Mahar talked about the rising costs of health care and the newly presented ideas by congress. She presented a scope of five to 10 years on what was going to happen to Medicare in general, regarding insurance premiums and benefits.
It is projected that in the next ten years, Medicare will cut overpayments to Medicare advantage insurers by $138 billion.

"Dire Consequences Predicted if Reform Fails." Health care Financial Management Jul 2009: pg. 12. Web. 7 Apr 2010. < http://proquest.umi.com/pqdweb?did=1792321841&sid=1&Fmt=3&clientId=1407&RQT=309&VName=PQD>.
This was a cool periodical magazine, which was posted on Pro quest as well. The author once again was anonymous. In the magazine article it talked about how congress is struggling to face the needs and challenges that lay ahead if strategic action isn’t taken soon. Insurance for employers was said to rise by 106% within the next few years. Large corporations’ even small businesses would easily be hampered by large insurance bills for their employees. Lots of small businesses were said to go out of business if this were to occur.

This is a wiki source found on Wikipedia.com. This source seems to back itself up quite well. It cited many sources at the bottom of the link. As for the information found in the article itself, it showed readers the layout and challenges of the health care reform in the present and future. I myself know this wiki to be very credible, regarding the endless list of citations of the author’s references he used to create this page.
